The Museum of Automata of the Rocca di Angera
Three rooms in the medieval castle of Angera are dedicated to the forerunners of robots, automata built by clockmaker masters, to surprise and amuse. Dated from 1870 to 1920, they come from the collection of Mr and Mrs Pesché of Tours in France. Their slow and cadenced movements were marked by a carillon. There are three subjects: the music, the circus and vices and virtues.
